Generally, locos of the same manufacturer, as in your case may be compatible in speeds. <br />Also the P1K- F3 A-B, C-liner A-B, Walters trainline F40PH double headers but the locos should have the same electrical draw. You wouldn't try and match up a P2K E7 with a P1K - F3 A. As James pointed out for things to operate smoothly your pack must be able to deliver sufficient current to all the locos to you are running. According to the MRC ad in Walthers your 1440 will handle 2-3 locos. <br /> <br />Don't assume this will work all the time, it won't.
