Just recieved "Playing with Trains" by Sam Posey for my birthday. This is one great book. Every model railroader needs to read this. It is so captivating, witty, and just plain fun to read. A great gift too. I'm not getting paid for this endorsement.

I purchased the book several weeks ago, but have not made time to read it. I have been to busy working on the layout. It sounds like I should put aside some time to read it.

This book came up a while back and the posts were very favorable. I haven't bought it yet but maybe Santa has it on her list.

Here are a couple of links to earlier threads about the book:

I second that. A great read, and very easy to sail through.

I also recommended it to my wife so she could gain some insight about this hobby/obsession of mine. She didn't read it though. I wonder when they will make the movie?
