Next Weekend we are hosting our Vancouver British Columbia show, open to the public, and if you register - clinics and self guided layout tours. The show is open to the public 1000 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (Nov 8 and 9).

Well Roger, Mark Dance's layout is on the self guided layout tours this year for those that have registered, which you can do at the door. Mark's layout is N scale but it doesn't matter, in reality it is "E scale" (excellent scale - very well done).
Why not get a buddy or two and share expenses, I do get the whole ferry expense thing, I have a house in Qualicum Beach while living on the North Shore. I went to the Victoria show, my son was the young guy working the Central Hobbies tables. I had my wife drop me off at the Ferry, had some one pick me up on the other side where I spent the night at their house, next day went to the show, ride back to the ferry and picked up on the other side.

I'll probably try and get there on Saturday. I have to go to a funeral in North Van on Saturday morning, so I will probably go on the way home. That's if I can get a ride for the kid to Hockey. Spent my first forty years in North Van, until I decided I needed a bigger train room. Then it was out to the country.

I'm in Deep Cove. Most homes here don't have basements so I have an N scale layout in a study sized room; double decked an 150 of main line run, with about 110 feet in now.
