Lunchtime in sunny Germany! Flo, steak sandwich and a mug off coffee, please! I spent the morning finishing the drawing of that HOn30 layout. While the On30 version is certainly more appealing, the Ho version requires only a third of the material and thus only a third of the cost. I had more or less already shelved that plan, when I ran across the Minitrains website. They have a cute 0-4-0 tank loco of Austrian prototype, which would make a nice loco for that island railway. <a href="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/lok5_zps022fb86f.jpg"><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/lok5_zps022fb86f.jpg" alt=" " border="0" /></a> Ain´t she sweet? Supposedly a good runner, too! The plan is now finished. I have to admit I cheated a little by scaling down the view from the On30 layout. <a href="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/SchietwedderoogerKleinbahninH0e_zps933d5e34.jpg"><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/SchietwedderoogerKleinbahninH0e_zps933d5e34.jpg" alt=" " border="0" /></a> Each "box" measures only about 10" by 18" - quite handy, should I move to Berlin in September...
