"It's how you interpret the warranty langauge and who is authorized. This is why I called Golf Manor Hobbies in Cinn, First Hobby in Decatur Il and Walthers in Milwaukee.. I was not happy about the response so I e-mailed Lima in Italy. Their response left no doubt. "Lima authorized repair service is based here in Italy by us for any country in the world'. "Under warranty you have to send it to us with the warranty card and we will repair it without charges". I bet you can't even get replacement parts in the US yet. In most other new loco releases you can get domestic repairs.
