9 pm and I am heading for my bed. I am dead tired and try to get some rest before Petra and I will go up north again.
Ulrich .... Prayers for you and your family. Are you still doing this without your brother's help? I realize your sister has problems, and can not be expected to help. I think once your Mom and Dad are adjusted to the new surroundings there will be improvements.
Garry - no help from my brother. This guy is no good at all. He had the nerve to call my father at the hospital and started shouting at him. Apparently he does not like me helping my parents - maybe he is fearing that this could affect his future inheritance. He really upset my Dad. I expect a lot of trouble from him.

I am not sure whether my parents will settle in at the nursing home. While my Dad is perfectly aware of the situation, my Mom has lost any sense of reality. She still thinks Dad will come home one day. She does not want to move into the nursing home, she wants to stay in "her" home, even if it means being separated from my Dad. There is no way she can stay at home . She is not able to cope with even the slightest challenge of life. She told me she´d rather put an end to her life before she moves into the "prison". The day before yesterday I left her for a two minute "break" to "wash my hands", and she left the house. I found her with a rope around her neck - I don´t think I have to say more. All of this is so sad - I don´t know for how much longer I will be able to shoulder this burden. This is hell!
