Info needed on Labelle kits and Berkshire Valley products
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, October 24, 2004 1:36 PM
Has anyone seen or better yet built one of these Labelle passenger car kits, preferably in O scale. Also how do their three axel trucks look?
Is there anyone out there that has a complete catalogue on Berkshire Valley product includign pictures? Again O scale.

thanks BIll

Bill,
I haven't built an O scale La Belle kit, since I'm on HO, but have you gone to their Web site:
http://www.labellemodels.com
and sent the Steeles an Email to ask which of their dealers is near to your home ? That way you could "eye-ball" them yourself. Based on their HO scale kits, I would say they are in the craftsman skill class, and because of that, readily adaptable to upgrading if you don't find the detail parts to your liking.
While I don't know if it represents the entire line, Valley Model Trains:
http://valleymodeltrains.com
shows several of the Berkshire Valley freight cars on their O gauge page.
Hope this helps.
