big boy assembly diagram
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, October 24, 2004 1:23 PM
Does anyone have an assembly diagram for a rivarossi big boy?
I just bought one on ebay but, it didn't come with paperwork.
I don't know how old it is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

[#welcome] to the forum Don,
about your BigBoy, when it has the engine sticking into the cab it is an older model,
did it come in an original box? the assembly diagrams are not spectacular, more a spare parts list. I think I have paperwork for old and new Bigboys lying around. I could scan them

While you are scanning, could you send a copy my way too? I bought an older one Saturday with the tender for $35 from my LHS! The kicker is that it wouldn't run on the test track, but when I got it home and hooked power directly to the motor, it ran. Kinda slow at first, but it loosened up real quick. Must be something loose inside, but I'm not sure how to tear it apart yet. My e-mail is morpar55@hotmail.com. Thanks.

Good Luck, Morpar

Any chance that someone still has a copy of the Rivarossi Big Boy parts and assembly diagram lying around that they could please send to me? or point me to a web site where I could download one?

My email is redtailhawk@ameritech.net
