Thanks to the advice and counsel received on this forum, I have nearly finished my small, "experimental" layout. I have learned a great deal (e.g. use smaller ballast in N-scale). I still need sidewalks, streets, ground cover, and people, but here is what the Town of Bradshaw looks like thus far.
(The fictional town is named after my grandfather, who was a UP brakeman in Utah in the late 40's. Bradshaw was his middle name, and his mother's maiden name.)
