Good Afternoon Gang!

Seems as if I am making good progress on the road to regaining my sanity. I am keeping myself busy with drawing locos and track plans, which had helped me already two years ago. Staying in the doldrums is no fun, I can tell you. I can´t change the inevitable, so I stopped fighting it. None of us knows how long he/she will be around, so worrying about it does not make sense.

I´ll be heading to a not so local HS these days to sell my remaining Z scale stuff. Petra agrees, that this money will be for me and I am making plans to spend it on something not so usual. Part of it will have to go to finance our car´s technical inspection - that´s going to be some drain on the budget, though. Oh, yes, it is O gauge!

I am waiting for a reply of my labor administration counselor. I have asked them if they would pay an engineer´s training course for me. Such a course take 10 months to complete, but at the end, you´ve got a secure job, providing you pass the exam (and the physical). There are 15,000 jobs open for loco engineers in Germany! Well, let´s see ...

Have a great day!
