I noticed that Walthers tries to make a 4x8 sheet of quite a few of their series.  Examples include the service facilities, steel mills, and hiawatha seris.

Does anyone know if they made know if they made a pierfront 4x8?  It was introduced pre 2005 when I got into the hobby.

If there was, I don't remember it.  However, the 2000 Walthers catalog shows the Pier/Traveling Crane, Carfloat Apron, Tug Boat, Pier Terminal, and Front Street warehouse on a series of dioramas constructed by Ken Patterson.

Did the snow stop there yet?  I'm east of you and want to know if it's safe to shovel.

These pictures appeared on the box for the carfloat kit.  I scanned them for you.
