Good Afternoon Gang!

we are having the nicest April weather here in Northern Germany. I should not complain, most of Germany is right now drowning ...

Janie, strong coffee in my JNR mug, please. I have a hard time to keep my eyes open.

Ray- you know, Petra used to teach cooking and housekeeping in a vocational school. She was never regarded to be a "real" teacher, but had to chip in a lot more work to prepare her classes than those "real" ones. She also had more classes, but received less pay. That´s what finally made her to quit teaching.

Todd - a visit to my friend´s place is like meeting Alice in Wonderland. He is into model railroading, not so much for the trains, but creating scenes, most of them with some kind of animation. He also build model air planes and boats, mostly from scratch. His man cave , err - shop - down in the basement is loaded with tools and materials, which make a model builder´s heart race. He has been a great help to me, not only with his skills, but also with his friendship. He´s the only one who is still around.

I have discovered a new hobby within our hobby - making little videos. It is lots of fun seeing your trains moving around in a little video. I don´t have a camcorder, but my little Panasonic digicam is doing a good job.

Here are some more little videos:

[View:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGLRQcQtOYg&feature=player_detailpage:550:0]

[View:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JXbLXaJ4p8&feature=player_detailpage:550:0]

[View:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gadt4G0cFcI&feature=player_detailpage:550:0]

Enjoy!
