A Rant - Detail and the 3-Foot Rule

<p>I don´t have a 3-Foot Rule in place, as this distance is by far too big for me to view my N scale trains properly. My layout is set at nearly eye level, and to be able to enjoy the detail I need to stick my nose quite close to the track.</p> <p>Actually, most of the detail I can see only on the pictures I take of my layout. Pictures show more than we can see while operating out layouts.</p>
