Good Evening Gang! It´s been a boring weekend for me. Too hot to do anything, just lurking around in the forums and performing my duty as moderator. Memorial Day weekend always leaves with mixed feelings. I am grateful to all servicemen who gave their lives to oust this mad Austrian, but it also makes me think about those 7 million German folks, both service people and civilians, who lost their lives in the wake of this horrible war. Large parts of my family are included in this figure. In those past 67 years, Germany has not yet found a way to deal with its history, let alone a way to commemorate the victims. Janie - as Flip is taking up the tab, I´ll go for a burger platter, with fries & salad. And add a [B] to it: Or should I settle for an RBF? Haven´t had one for a long time... Blessings!
