Barry - consultancy is about the worst business to be in. There are more than a quarter million highly qualified consultants in the market, who live off the fact that their wives still hold jobs. I do participate in a number of business networks specializing on consultant jobs, but they ae nearly dead for the 3rd consecutive year. I know what´s wrong with me, I am too old, too qualified for the German job market. Only cheap and inexperienced people have a good chance to get hired, at least on a temp basis, as the jobs are being down-graded all the time in order to save money. Guess why I had plans to leave Germany...
