Bear,
You gave me my,''Laughs and Smiles'' for the day!

Agreed, Batman's fine photos show up as "removed" when I come to his threads. Must be the Bat Cave walls won't let the photos pass through.
Hope someone in the wonderful world of electronic mystery can solve the problem or post how we can alter our electronic pains to make his great work viewable again.
Have fun,
Richard
Perhaps one of Batman's old adversaries is holding him hostage and forced him to make the ultimate sacrifice, deleting his photobucket account.

Bear, why did THIS pop into my head?? LOL!!

NCE über alles!
The Joker has haked Brent's Photobucket account?
Just did a search on Photobucket for his user name (BATTRAIN), and it is not there. Maybe BEAR's conspiricy theroies are correct

HAVE NO FEAR OLD CHUM'S!
I am still alive and well. However my photo's are not!
Imagine my surprise as I saw Bears thread (and had a real good laugh by the way) only to discover he wasn't pulling my Johnson Bar.
All of my photo's are alive and resting unscathed in my photobucket account. As to why they have disappeared from the forums is a complete mystery to me.
They seem to be missing right back to the day I joined the forum.
My wife just rolls her eye's at my attempts at humour. Maybe Kalmbach decided they just couldn't take it any more.
Anyway if any of you come across my pic's can you please send them home. In the meantime I may try and re-insert some of them. That'll make 'em mad!
Brent

Sorry, Kalmbach moved or deleted this person.
Looks like whatever link you used from Photobucket was only temporary, or Photobucket regenerated said links.

That is the problem with outside hosts. They say it is because of securityto have outside hosts, obviously they have no clue, yes it is harder to breach the system but it can be done.
Well good to hear that the inhabitants of the Bat Cave Annex 4610 metres north of the 49th are OK. However does the utitilty belt contain the tools to fix the photos??? If not, get a bigger hammer.
Cheers, the Bear.

If yours is a free photobucket account, Brent, you may have used-up your bandwidth allowance. This happened to me a couple of months ago. It will automatically reset every month on the anniversary of your joining the site. Mine did so, but in two weeks the bandwidth was used-up again. I asked them for a printout of activity for my account, and found that there had been over 100,000 viewings of my photos in that time period. Of those, about 3/4 were on train-related sites such as this one, while the rest were attributable to searches on google, bing, and similar sites. I finally decided to get a paid account, where bandwidth is supposedly unlimited.

Wayne.
According to my Info on the accounts page on Photobucket, I have used up 3% bandwidth and 14% storage and have 473 photo's on site. That being said, before Photobucket changed to its new format you could check all the viewing stats for your account, and at that time I was nearing 100,000 views every five months. I think the graphs would only show the previous five months IIRC. My anniversary date of joining is Sept 08.
You would think they would advise one if they were about to blow up his account. Oh well the price is right and it is not the end of the world. Someone sent me a PM and suggested I put out a "Best of Waldorf and Statler" thread. I'll have to think about that.
Anyway It is a puzzle to say the least.
I still think the "Butler" did it, dam that Alfred!

I wonder if I am getting "short circuted" with someone elses account? When I log into this forum I have on occasion showed up as someone else. Maybe something simular is happening on PB?

As have I, I have NEVER seen another person's name listed in the Welcome box. It's either always me, or if I have recently cleaned my cache, it prompts me to log in, it's immediately obvious when I'm not logged in, since it shows all threads as unread, and I log in frequently enough that the entire first page is NEVER all unread.
Hopefully I'll be able to figure out what happened. I agree 100,000 hits in 5 months is way over the top considering this is the only forum I post on. Quite frankly the photo's I post of all that pink foam and track are sometimes not worth one look never mine repeated ones. Go figure.

THE BAT IS BACK!!!
I just checked SHOWME, and there was old Grinchie lookong back at me on page 1. Looks like whatever Photobucket gremlins that were affecting Batman have gone back into hiding, resting up to torment another unsuspecting customer

Then the Grinch is the only thing, cuz the rest of his pics are gone...
maybe this will help?
Yes I put up another Grinch on the Show Me thread as it is still going strong and I want to see if he disappears again.
I also replaced Waldorf and Statler in the Mt. Rushmore thread from way back as I still receive PMs about that one even though it is from long ago. I guess people must search Mt. Rushmore a lot.
It looks like my pic's are gone forever though.
I just now received an unsolicited E-Mail from Photobucket. In amongst the computer generated gobbledygook of the letter it said my account may have experienced exactly what mine did. So I guess mystery solved.
