<p>Guten Abend!</p> <p>The sun is slowly setting on this side of the Big Pond - supper time is ahead of us. It´ll be just sandwiches tonight, we have to go easy on our food spending this month. </p> <p>I painted the hull ( bottom part) in a glossy red color - those new water-based colors are darn good! They cure in about an hour, so the hull now has 3 layers of red paint on it. It´ll be more sanding tomorrow to smooth it out a little. Once the whole boat is painted, I will give it a spray coat of glossy clear lacquer. Still a long way to go - when I look what I will have to do to install the rigging ... [:-^]</p> <p>I also toyed around with my camera, just because Sue likes some of my pictures. Here is today´s harvest:</p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040120.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040114.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040122.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040113.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040112.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040111.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /></p> <p>My friend later came over earlier this afternoon - he brought 3 battery operated LED lights with him, which I fastened to the upper board on the shelf as layout lighting. There are not that bright, so I will need more of them. You have to place one about every foot. At less than 1 $ a piece that´s quite OK.</p> <p>It´ll be ham and cheese on toast for me now, so CUL!</p>
