Noah, The sound is included in the Lionel Veranda. (Built-in DCC decoder equipped with QSI Quantum Sound.) You can hear the sound either on DC or DCC. The videos are on DC, I couldnt wait to test it myself so I bought a simple DC transfomer, the problem is that it had no direction switch ! I found a not very orthodoxe solution : I plugged bewteen the transformer and the track an electronic speed controler used in RC stuff !! I can set the voltage on the transformer and then, with a radio and a receiver I command the ESC to change the direction (it commands the horn, bells, and many other things like the programming). No problem with the transformers you can find in USA.....unfortunatly, no way to find that in Paris today, except on order......I am an impatient guy [:D]
