I use 1/8"x3/8" cylindrical neodymium magnets - see my home page @ http://fhn.site90.net  and click on "Layout" in the left frame, and scroll to the bottom of the right frame.  They are hard to spot, and very strong, and you only need a 1/8" drill to install them.
