Public Model Railroad displays in the Dallas area
Posted by Great Western Rwy fan on Saturday, June 8, 2013 6:47 AM

I will be in the Dallas area in early July. I have a 7 year old Grandson I will be meeting for the first time and will be taking Him Fishing and Train watching as well as riding a tourist train in Grapevine. I want to get Him interested in Model Railroading and would like to show Him some Model Layouts.

Not a model railroad, on a future trip you may want to check out the RR museum currently in the process of moving from Dallas to a new site in Frisco.  My grandkids (in Fort Worth) and I haven't visited it yet as they are just part way through the construction and move.  Their collection includes a Big Boy, so we will see the museum some time.
