Up to date overview pics of my HO layout
Posted by Southwest Chief on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 5:03 PM

I took four photo overviews of the progressing HO layout trying to show it from all four angles.

More roads have been painted and striped, more buildings have been painted, and more scenery has been applied.  Still loads to do, but it's getting there.

The tracks have pretty much been in place since 1973 when my dad first started this layout.  For about 6 years I've been working on rehabilitating the town sections.  I'm going for a late 1950s Southern California look.

Ohh, nice work! The backdrop is effective. You've laid out track while keeping a generous balance between railroad and scenery. I like its detailed minimalism.BeerYes
