Hi all

Not much happening here, trying to get the first chapter of the Dissertation finished with references, etc.

Rob, I think that’s on the “dream jobs” list, replacing Jeremy Clarkson when he retires from Top Gear. Judging by what I’ve seen on TV I’m better with diesels than he is already…

Scott, is there space for those things under the bonnet/hood? I’ve taken a look at some air horns but obviously can’t test them in the store, I’d have to fit an extra pushbutton too as the regulations over here say the standard horn can’t be an air horn, although you can add those as an extra. Regarding those little Kato 4-axle chassis that PC posted, they’re intended to fit these http://search.stores.ebay.co.uk/Wellington-Models_kato_Bandai-N-Scale-Shorty-Kits_W0QQfcdZ2QQfromZR10QQfsubZ11QQftsZ2QQsaselZ27347618QQsofpZ0 which may also be of interest – I’m rather tempted to get one of the Class 113 units.

Aggro, the problem is that our government are now very keen on as many people as possible getting degrees, so the result is that the jobs market is full. Quite how a degree in “Surf Science” as offered by one institution (I’m not making this up – there really is such a course!) is supposed to compare to more traditional subjects is anyone’s guess!

John, I think the wheels were most of the problem. It’s currently lurking in the stock cupboard as we’ve nowhere to run it at the moment.

Bye for now
