Who's in the railway business today?

Lots of info on past railways, but what's going on today? Who are the major players, anyone out there have a list (probably by size) of say.... the top 20 or so railroads in the U.S. forget favouritism, profits, and "EDDIES" one engine rock hauling and storm door railroad co. ---strictly statisiics. thanks

The U.S. Government stats. list 7 major carriers by revenues from the last 3 years, it seems #2 and #6 belong to some foreign country to the north. I hope the U.S. is not thinking of nationalizing the railways are they????
