Proto 2000 coupler problems
Posted by Blind Bruce on Sunday, September 9, 2012 4:36 PM

I have a Proto 2000 Heritage 0-6-0 that has coupler issues. I would like to change both ends to Kadee.

Which ones work with this loco and dender?

Hello Bruce,

Simon says #5 or 148 or MCS.

One of the best things you can do for all your locomotives is to remove those older P-2000 couplers. The new ones, with the knuckle spring are fine.

Good Luck,

John R
