Con Cor Pioneer Zephyr 4th Car HO
Posted by simon1966 on Thursday, August 30, 2012 6:27 PM

My birthday is not for a couple of weeks, but my 2 son's could not resist handing me my present early, so that I can run it at the local hobby shop this weekend.

It is the 4th car to go with my Pioneer Zephyr (Con Cor)

The seller sent gave them an admonition that this 4th car was for the twin headlight version, not the earlier single headlight version, and that it would have to be re-wired so as to avoid blowing out the lighting.

I have checked the Con Cor web site, and there is no mention of this anywhere.  (I have emailed them as well, but don't expect to hear back just yet as they are closed)

Does anyone know anything about this?  Is there any truth to the warning?

Happy B-Day my friend! To bad I have to work Sunday, I would love to see the engine! I am off Saturday at this point.

I got a nice detailed explanation and instructions from Con Cor, and indeed there was some wiring differences.  I'll be checking it out today and getting it ready for running tomorrow.
