Ulrich- Thanks for the picture, it brings back memories. We used to eat at a local restaurant on the back side of the curved turrent. I still try to go to German restaurants when I can.
Curt - I have yet to figure out what German food is [swg] In our little town of 25,000, we have three Greek restaurants, one Croatian place, two Turkish Kebab hangouts, one Argentinian Steak restaurant, 3 "Asian" restaurants and, well, yes, two "German" places, but they serve anything else than what is considered German food. Oh, I forgot to mention one Pizza place. The next McDumb is about 8 miles down the main road, no Burger King, no Kentucky Fried Chicken - you´ll have to go all the way to Hamburg to find those. Down south you´ll find more traditional food, but not in our region.

O tempora, o mores!
