Could not find any real specks about what code track it will handle, but in this video when shows the rails they look pretty thin.

I hate Rust
Flange depth according to NEM practices is slightly larger than according to NMRA S-4.2. It varies from
.023" to .046" as opposed to .028". Even with a NEM wheel flange at the upper limit, you should not encounter any problem running on Code 83 rail.
I went ahead and purchased a Big Boy and unfortunately it bottoms out on the frogs of the Atlas code 83 turnouts. Very unreliable due to frequent derails on turnouts.
Expensive display item.

Wanna sell it?Code 100 here!
I have given a friend first bid and should settle this weekend.
By the ay i am in Australia
Bernie,
My Trix Big Boy runs no problem on code 70
See it run here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xauEETzr3pQ
Just a note, I hand lay all my track and turnouts, and never have a problem.

I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder
My Trix Big Boy and Mikado both work well on my Peco code 75.

Bernie, are you sure it's the flanges bottoming out? I've found that some of my Hornby wheels are slightly wider than NRM and derail on atlas code 83 but run fine on Peco.
