Trainworld Additional 10% Discount
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 3:59 AM
According to their flyer"Preferred Customer, 10% off all "HO" orders over $100.00".
I'm assuming that they are eluding to current customers on file but it's worth a try
for any body(ask). When ordering mention coupon # 830, good for instock items only.
Makes those P2Ks. Genesis, Rivs, Broadway & Lionel HOs look a small bit cheaper.
Expires 09/13/04

Nice!

Would like another E7 and one E8 in P2K. Worth checking out. Roadname doesn't matter as they'll take the 91% alcohol bath and then make an appointment with the Paint & Body Shop ( o.k, my airbrush ).

Cheers and High Greens!

Chuck, did you get this in an email? I've ordered crap form them all the time and yet to hear about this offer. I should be "on file".

The notice came in the US mail a few days back.
Obviously, their customer data base is not up to speed.

About every two to three months I receive in the mail their latest discount flyer. I just bot an P2K
off their flyer that was $10.00 cheaper than it was back in April.

I received an e-mail notice from them, but it was on the day of the sale, and just for that one day. Too late to order by phone and they don't have enough info online to order after hours.

IMO Trainworld does an outstanding job. Excellent execution from their 1-800 #,
order processing to front door delivery.
I just put in another week-end order, shipped Monday PM and according to UPS tracking service
it will be delivered by 2:30-PM today.
Good prices plus that extended 10% discount.
They are a tough act to beat.

I have no complaints I've ordered from them three times, each time with good results.

No it hasn't.
Here's another example of their outstanding service; I entered a telephone order on Friday, 3:45PM
and it left Brooklyn NY at 10:28 PM per United Parcel's web site.
