Hi - I'm trying to assist someone with turning the smoke generator on in a PCM DCC Big Boy. The manuals available on-line don't indicate how to turn it on. Does anyone know if there's a switch or if it's decoder controlled?
thanks

I have one, but to me honest I have never used the smoke and removed the smoke unit. There is a switch that controls the power under the coal load. Then the smoke is turned on and off with a F function
If you like, I will see if I can find the book that came with it.
So yours still runs? Mine has been nothing but a problem child from the day I bought it when they where released. Been back to BLI 3 times, and it back on the RIP track again.
as well.
