OK I have recently decided that my new extension room layout the location will be Cheyenne, WY.
Now... I will have a Cheyenne Union Station with a 4 track passenger train shed.
I would like to model the famous boot that is outside the station on the prototype.
Obviously it will have to scratch built.
How in the world can I do this? Is it going to be impossible?
Please help guys, I know somebody will come up some creative ideas.

I think you can try a toy store like TOYS-R-US, and check out the Barbi,& Ken doll section, They just might have western clothing for the dolls, and you can pick up a pair boots.

A quick search for doll boots resulted in this. I would say that is perfect.

About 1.6" +/- 0.4" If it is 1.5 times the height of a six foot man, it is about 9 feet - call it 1.2" or so in H0 scale If it is 2 times the height of a six foot man, it is about 12 feet - 1.6" or so in H0 scale If it is 2.5 times the height of a six foot man, it is about 15 feet - 2" of so in in H0 scale

Ya the barbie sized boots will be too small.
So I will get the one I found on ebay that is 1.8".
Slightly off topic. In the mail today a friend sent me a picture of a boot automobile. It is driving around the country celebrating LL Bean's 100 anniversary. Interesting that it came the day after reading this thread last night.
