Good Morning,

not much sleep last night [:'(]

Janie, just coffee, please. Make it an IV bag this time.

Charlie - I am sorry to hear about your mother. please accept Petra´s and my [angel]. My father is turning 84 today and I am happy about each day the telephone is not ringing to give us the word. We know, that in this age, every day is a gift, but the thought to lose my parents one day is an unthinkable one.

Today is not only my father´s birthday, but one of the saddest days in US history. In 1978, I was able to visit Pearl Harbor and pay my respect to those who lost their lives during this attack. I hope that one day we all will learn that war only means a loss.

And there is another anniversary on this date. 175 years ago, the grand opening of the first railroad in Germany was celebrated. It ran from Nuremberg to the neighboring town of Fuerth. The line never became part of the German Rail network and was finally amalgamated into the Nuremberg light railway system.

Blessings and [angel] to all of you.
