He'd always growl, bare his teeth, and snap when I tried to comb him. After reading a book on wolf/dog body language, I realized he was saying "I think I can take you in a fight". The answer to that is to bare your teeth and not growl. You're saying "I KNOW I can take you in a fight." He still snaps now, but just at the comb. He knows he's in big trouble if he gets my fingers. <br /> <br />Jay
