PHIL:
You can understand the relief that I feel probably more then anyone else:

EARL DIED AND HAS BECOME A TROPICAL WAVE.

That is the best news I've heard in the last two days, aside from everyone in FL comming out OK.

How are you guys doing in Nova Scotia?

FERGIE:
I've lost your phone number, It's on the same sheet of paper that has your schedule. I don't know what your shift is. Down here we go 7 on and 7 off, 14 on and 14 off, or 28 on and 28 off. I don't want to get to NS and find out that you just left yesterday or will be back in two days. Do you know how to get in touch with Fundynorthern? I'd like to see his layout also.

As of today (subject to change) I'll see you on day 7 and John on day 8. Brakie will be on day 2. Tom will be later as I don't know yet when I'll be comming through GA. YNCS will be several days after John but I haven't work up that part of the trip yet. I still have to get it approved by the boss (Stephanie). When I get it all together (hopefuly I won't forget where I put it) I'll get in touch with everybody and see if it will fit their schedule.

To YNCS and John:
My layout is just benchwork and track (not all of that is wired). Scenery may be started before I leave but it's not a big priority. From the post a couple of days ago between you guys I'm not expecting a layout like the musuem in Chicago, just almost. JUST PICKING. I've been around long enough - I still use coke cans as tanks; kit boxes as buildings and envelopes propped up with jars as facades for my industries. I was hoping to have my layout on the San Jact club tour this Oct and Nov but alas I didn't get enough done. The second lap of my main line is still under construction. We are trying to get several layouts over here so the Houston guys don't feel that the 100+ mile drive is a waste of time.

Have a blessed day and remember SANTA FE ALL THE WAY
Bob
