So, I took Liam to a train show in Brampton, ON today.
Nice show, bunch of vendors & clubs, nice wide open space for the show.
Liam was doing his usual bouncing off the layouts while I was scoping out the vendors.
We came across the Nottawasaga Modle Railroad Club, the layout was 4' off the ground so I set up the small step ladder I carry around so he can check out the taller layouts & one of the operators came over & asked if Liam wanted to "run" a train.! DUH!
They run Digitrax DCC & one locomotive had sound. Liam was all over this. Just my luck. HE ran it for a while, makin sure he didn't run any red signals.
We left so I could check the rest of the show & came back about an hour later. This time, they got him switching a mine.
He finished that, nothing broken! YEY! When that was done, they gave Liam a certificate for the title of Junior Model Railway Engineer which grants him the opportunity to run trains with the club at future shows.
Down right cool!
