In the upper right corner of the screen, at the end of the address bar, is an icon that looks like a torn sheet of paper.  Click it one time.

I'm going to take a wild guess here. Did you recently upgrade to Internet Explorer 9? If so, look to the right of the address bar. You should see a small icon that looks like a torn piece of paper. Click it once and you should be able to post. If not you should think about using another browser. I use Firefox as my primary and Opera as the backup.

This site is still experiencing some significant problems.  It seems to play well with IE 7 but not IE 8 for me, and most often crashes when I try to reply to a post.  It usually works again if I go back into the site via my Favorites, but not always.  The MR forum is the only site I frequent that causes browser issues, despite clearing my cache and so on, so I don't think it's just me or my installation.  I can't be sure what it's doing to you, but I'd be inclined to blame the continuing site issues.  Until a couple months ago it worked fine with IE 8, but now you may need to use the "compatibility mode" work around.
