I'm looking for information on the best way to apply decals on a HO refrigeration car. These would be grafitti decals. Would it be best to apply a coat of gloss coat then apply decals and then apply dullcote? I'm would like to make these look like they were painted on and not decalled. I would appreciate any helpful technique so as not to ruin a $27 car. Thanks in your advance for your help.
Mike
I've have always liked to apply decals on a shinny surface then using a decal setting fluid to settle it over details and the apply a coat of flat coat. This has worked well for me over the years.
There is no such thing as a bad day of railfanning. So many trains, so little time.
