I will be 21 next month, and starting another semester of college.

I've been in to trains since I was about 4 or so. Grew up on Thomas the Tank Engine, got my first train set when I was 5, it broke a few days later... I don't remember much about it.

I took a break for a few years and got back in to trains when I was about 15. Just thought I'd try it out again and I loved it!

I've been in to N-scale since last year, and now do a bit of both.

Alvie.

I am 15. I have a friend who is 15, and likes trains. I believe he is on this forum, somewhere.

I have been into trains since the age of 6 months, as my mother says. My first words were "Choo choo." Mom was kind of upset, because I didn't say "Mama."

I am 15, and work at a train store! AND I LIKE TURBINES!

Heeey-

My son is into trains but he's not even 1 year old yet, he's 4 months [:)]

He loves to watch them move. Not to mention he also likes the prototypes as well.

My 2 year old grandson sleeps with his Thomas Trains, runs to the window when a train goes by, and will play for hours quietly with a train set when given a chance -- and protests loudly if pulled away to do other things.

When grandpa comes to visit, the first thing he wants to know is if I've brought a train video to watch.

I'd say he's got the bug *bad*. [:D]

It's really kind of hard to support your local hobby shop when the nearest hobby shop that's worth the name is a 150 mile roundtrip.

Whoops. I guess I got itchy trigger finger.

My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter loves trains. Probably because both her granddads are train freaks. One of the things she loves to do best is sit with Grandpa "ChooChoo" (that's me) and watch train videos. Her favorite is a Pentrex video from the late 80's on the Rio Grande.

I also have a 2 month old granddaughter. She, too, will be brainw....... er, I mean educated to love trains.[:D]

My grandson will be four in December and since he was ten months old grandpa has been brainwashing him with trains. He plays my train simulator and will receive his first lionel train this christmas. I will mount it on a board and we will have hours of fun together. Only three year old I know who watches train videos with grandpa and ccounts the units pulling thge train and knows the difference between head end cars coaches dining cars and sleeping cars. I think I have created a railfan.

Thanks for the compliment chuck, but I don't deserve it. I do some good models, but my layout isn't all that good. I'm still working on the realistic scenery thing.

BNSF,

I can't blame your 7 year old brother. I like the 844 to. The price of the HO scale model is not my taste. But I 'll sure try.
CP5415. Yes, it does count. Very much. keep it coming.
