Lee,    the driver drove it on so he'll have to drive it off! No really, there is a dirt road between the large building (boat shop) and the small lobster shack.

On  my system your picture took a long time to display. You might want to explore making your images smaller. They will upload and download faster.

...and be seen more. If it takes to long to load many will not look at all.

Very nice dock scene. I do look forward to viewing more.

It cracks me up to see just how often a typo has a second, unintentional, meaning!

The statement "...I finely did it," is actually a TRUE ONE!  (despite its misspelling).

The water in the picture looks different. Did you use Plexiglas with paint under it?

yep...loads up really quick here....really nice scene....going to look forward to seeing more of your work.

It might be time for some to start questioning their ISP as to what their upload is ...if it is slower than begin looking for someone that gets it higher then...we went through a few of these threads wherein someone would want smaller pictures..only to end up with a thumbnail....

First: Great modeling, really impressive.

Second: Feeling really dumb - how DO you post a picture? On this reply screen the Link icon is grayed out, and I tried to just paste the photo and that didn't work.

What's the sequence?

Thanks. OwenW

Based on the quality of what we see in this pic, if they choose not to wait, it is their loss. He has a beauteous of a water/harbor scene with lots of details that many would drool over. SO it would be worth the wait.

Hi Rich,

The tug boat is the Taurus its a steam tug boat 1900 from Model Ship-ways a division of Model Expo. Kit No. 2021. Google Model Expo, and on the left, click on ship kits and you will find the Taurus. The kit comes with a bunch of detail parts and is a lot of fun to build.  Its a solid wood water line hull and is worth every penny of its cost.

I agree. The work is top notch. I have high speed internet and don't need to wait, but wanted to pass along a hard learned fact for a guy that seemed to have some doubt.

Hi Johnboy,

Thanks for that.my lay-out is based on New England and I try to get every aspect of New England.

I work mostly on water front  as far as my railroad goes.I Have two harbors, one on each side of the layout. Right now I have been having problems with posting pictures, but as soon as I can that squared away I will be posting much more pictures of my New England & North Coast railroad. My railroad will be featured in an upcoming issue of Model Railroader Mag. Wish I could tell you when but I just don't know. some day soon I hope.

ollevon,

After 19 years I finally completed my layout. I went to Kinkos and had a 4' x 16' copy of your photo made and hung it in front of my benchwork. Thanks for not posting a lower quality photo. It loaded faster than the progress I was making.

Glenng6,

Congrats. on getting your layout completed, That photo was one of the first ones I took. That is the best complement anyone could ever get. Thank you for that. Like I said before I am having problems posting pictures right now, but I will again soon.

  Thank you again
