I am currently using command 2000 with a 18 amp power box also by MRC. My question is that accidently I swithched the mode from HO to G gague and the trains seemed to have more power. I am currently running 4-5 trains and it seems that there is more power on the G mode. Will this damage any of the decoders in my engines?

switching from ho to g increases the voltage from 12 to 18v. i won't run it like this for a long time. either decoder, light bulbs or motors will burn out.
have fun
