<p> Good Afternoon Folks,</p><p>a nice and sunny day - not for me to enjoy, the migraine still has the grips on me. Takes up to three days, and today is just #2 day [:(]</p><p>Zoe, with all that talk about drinking enough water, I´ll have a glass of mineral water and a coffee to follow. Maybe a shot of caffeine helps to get rid of that queasy feeling in my stomach.</p><p><b>Gary</b> - a big [#welcome] to the Diner. I know exactly what you are talking about - layout space and SWMBO´s claims. I am glad that my wife has developed a high tolerance to my hobby - as long as I don´t occupy any space [:D] </p><p><b>Keith</b> - I still have fond memories of driving down US Highway 101, back in 1974. Certainly one of the most spectacular drives in the US. I did all the way from Seattle to San Francisco and was enchanted by the beauty of the country.</p><p>Talking about N scale not (always) being to scale. I don´t really think, this is much of an issue. In fact, I believe, that sometimes it is even better, when some of the details are a little over-sized. We would not be able to take notice of the fine details, if they were to scale. What counts, is the overall impression, or illusion, you create and I think, you are doing a wonderful job there. Just take a look at Dave Vollmer´s PRR Juniata Division - he uses that over-sized code 80 rail with those big fat ties, but what a great layout he has created. Now that code 55 track looks better, maybe only on pictures or when your nose is only 2" away from the track. Only the bean counters and purist will think differently [swg] </p><p>TTFN - you all have a good day! <br></p><p> </p>
