Good Morning,

last night, I did catch some sleep - 4 hours. Not bad for a beginning.

We had an early morning visitor - one of the kind you don´t want to see in your house. I had forgotten to pay the last bill for trash collection for our house and this guy insisted on paying the bill. Well, I did, coming out of my MRR budget [:(] It was not really much, but it pushes back my plans for some time [:(][:(]

No news about my mother - I don´t know, whether this is good or bad. Called her Doc this morning, but he just told us to wait and see. She is to weak for any treatment - makes me fear for the worst to come. My father tries to keep his sanity by writing down the family history, starting all the way back in the 12th century, when a bloke settled down in Eastern Prussia and founded the village called Jebrammen, now Jebramki in Poland. The most interesting part starts in 1843, when the first member of the family joined the Royal Prussian East Railway. Since then, we had quite a number of railroad men in our family, the last one being my great uncle, who worked for the Shantung Railway Co. in Tsingtao/China, in 1900. When my father finished Law School, he applied for a job withn the then newly established German Federal Railway, but as he had already 5 mouths to feed, he could not wait for them to answer, but accepted the first job offered to him at the district attorney´s office in Duesseldorf. All of his work life, he regretted not to have worked for the railway.

Now I understand, where my love for trains comes from [:)]

Zoe, I´d like to have coffee in my BR mug and a sweet roll, please. I stay here at the RC to watch, who will show up.

Talking of fleas - there must be more of them in the world than humans. I believe, that fleas actually control the world and that they have strongly influenced the course of history - see my statements. It is about time we honor them with a National Save the Flea Day [swg] Feel free or free flea?

Have a safe day!
