I have been looking at the BLMA signals in the ads and they look pretty cool. I really have my eye on the "target" type. You see a lot of those down here on the old SP Sunset Line.
My though was to pick one up and stick it on my switching layout at the far end to represent the signal heading away on the main. I wont be using it for any operation, just for show but the thought of being able to light up just sounds cool. So a few questions...
1) Is it easy to hook up?
2) Is it easy to rig up a way to get the different colors?
3) is it as good in person as they look in the add?
Im thinking about treating myself to one for my birthday. And I plan on the dual target set up.
Any tips and insight would be great. Thanks!
Best Regards, Big John

Which BLMA signals are you looking at? I purchased their cantilever signal bridge kit for our HO scale layout and it was unpainted, unassembled brass and stainless steel. It takes hours of work to assembled some of the BLMA signals.
No, these come come assembled appeared and ready to install, Here is link to the item.
