New Athearn R-T-R 50' Flat Cars w Piggyback Trailers are Real Nice!

I just wanted to share my enthusiasm. Yesterday, my order for 5 of Athearn's 50' flatcars arrived in the mail. I've got to say that they are fantastic. They each have 2 piggyback trailers sitting atop and the paint jobs on the piggybacks are crisp and clear. The New Haven's are red with a diagonal stripe which reads "New England Transportation Co.". There is also a New Haven logo on each. Rather than describing the rest, which include Nickle Plate, Milwaukee, Great Northern and C&NW, I'd suggest you go to the Athearn website. Just click on "new", then Ready-to-Roll, and lastly, "50' flatcars with 2 trails".

I'm not trying to be a salesman; I just thought some of you may have missed them and I'm sure they will sell out quickly. They list for $22.00 and come r-t-r with metal wheels and knuckle couplers. Couple height is fine and I've run them for several hours without any problems. I got them from Hobbyland.com for $16.99 each.
