Don't write a long post online. Write it offline and paste it in. And don't believe the error messages you get.
At least, that's what I learned today. When I submitted a long post, there was an error and I was told to redo it. When I went back, my post was gone in the form and I had not saved a copy.
So, I wrote a shorter, sweeter one. It failed as well, but I had a copy. I posted it several more times, each one errored out. Finally, the last one I tried said it didn't allow duplicate posts. It lied. I checked back in the forum and there were two of my posts, duplicates indeed.
That's not all: Down the posts was my original, long post, the one that the system had said there was an error and to redo it.
I guess its hiccups from a new site.

Perhaps you should post a "duplicate" of this post in the "Bugs" post so maybe if there is an issue they can resolve it.
