Reminds me of a video I saw on You Tube the other day where a U.S. speeder club out on a weekend adventure was hauling a porta-pottie on a small trailer behind one of the speeders. It's along way back to the station. Just as long as it's not a dumping station...

Wolfgang, looks like you got the water color right.  The water on our Spring 2010 San Juan River trip (southeast Utah) was definitely tan in color, and became red below the Chinle Creek outlet.  A similar experience is pictured here: http://www.southwestguidebooks.com/trip_guide_pages/san_juan.htm.  (The Four Corners School of Outdoor Education offers four-day river trips on the river between Bluff and Mexican Hat, providing meals, equipment, guides, oar power, and local knowledge.)

Is that caboose ever mistaken for a portable toilet facility, or is it ever mistaken for a caboose? Wink

What do I think, Wolgang?  Well...I think I'd like a larger image.

The wooden truss bridge should carry the load without the mid-span bents.  Edit -- Ooops, don't those bents belong to a close-by, parallel trestle?

Not only do I like the water, I think that's a great job on the stone as well.

Really top notch work, like everything else I've seen you post Wolfgang. Gotta agree, not only is the bridge well done, but those rocks by the water, and the water itself, are also nice work.

Just hope they aren't stopping there to empty the portable facilities - of course back in those days no one really cared. Or maybe that's why the river is brown to begin with. Dead
