Hey gang. Glad to see that a lot of you old timers are still around. It's been a couple of years since my last visit here. I'm still very much an N scale lover but have been in ill health in recent years and haven't felt like doing much more than laying in bed and watching TV. I also haven't had access to a computer for a while so I haven't been able to stop by and check in until now. You guys take care and I'll try and drop by now and then and see how you're doing. By the way, I finally settled on the 1950s transitional period for my layout and will be selling off all of my modern locos and rolling stock on eBay as soon as I get around to it.

BACK tracklayer!
Several of us here have been in ill health of late and some {including myself} have been in the hospital and had some surgeries to groan about.
SOme of us still have issues or some have developed issues.
SO Don't let that stop you from stopping by if you have access to a computer, we'd like to hear from you!!
GOod luck, GOod health. Also my other half and I frequently have a prayer candle lit for those who need special thoughts and prayers. you will be added to the list.

Just my thoughts, ideas, opinions and experiences. Others may vary.
HO and N Scale.
After long and careful thought, they have convinced me. I have come to the conclusion that they are right. The aliens did it.
It is good to hear from you, tracklayer. We have some departed, some new, and the usual mix of experience and opinions. It works as well as ever here, so you should continue to fit right in as soon as you are back up to a full head of steam. (I can use that term with you now since you have elected to go with transition era modelling. )

Howdy, Tracklayer. Glad to see you back.
I can sympathise with your health problems, having suffered a construction delay of my own for similar reasons.
As for that Round Tuit, mine is supposed to be on the third camel of the annual caravan from Lower Slobbovia - but the caravan has been overdue for some time now...
Chuck (Still modeling Central Japan in September, 1964 - health and round tuit permitting)
back, Tracklayer. I hope that the major part of your problems are behind you and you have nothing but clear track ahead. Just don't push yourself to hard until you have the better part of your health back.
As "Dirty Harry Callahan" said, "A man's gotta know his limitations".
All the best for a full recovery.
Blue Flamer.
Well I am still hanging in there Tracklayer. My health is all so holding me back some, and the hours I work have not helped either. As a whole I have got DCC down, now wearing out engines with 400 hours on them.
Getting better when I take the time to work on the bench. About 2 years ago.
Current projects.
Get on line more and great to see your name again! Cuda Ken

Hey there Crandell. It's been a long time. So is Bergie still running the show here or has someone else taken over that spot?. I also see that spacemouse is still around. I've really been missing all of you guys. Hope to get my computer back up and running soon so I can visit more often.
I am newly back like you, so welcome. Been back for about a week.

Bergie left to work for a food magazine about 14 months ago, a bit less. His replacement is Dana Kawala, and Dana just got promoted to an editorship in the hierarchy at MR.
