The day that Letterman shaves off that godawful beard cannot come soon enough.

I grew a goatee in 1970 and a more or less a permanent beard in 1976.  I cut it off during my wifes chemotherapy and a couple times before that.  My mother, son and coworkers did not recognize me.  That said I have no use for the ZZ Top beard style.
