Terminal Track -- Good for what ails ya!

Some guy is selling terminal tracks on ebay (for attaching power wires). Here, for your reading enjoyment is an excerpt from his ad...

"Terminal Track allows you to apply power to your train layout and provide a POSITIVE connection. They can also be used to take power off to power accessories. I find that the trains operate better with fewer unwanted uncouples, run stronger and smoother when power is applied to the track in a more than one location around the layout. This concept in most cases helps overcome loose rail joiners and the need to clean the track as often. It is a simple parallel wiring circuit. "

Who knew terminal track was so versatile? Apparently the only thing it doesn't cure is bedwetting...

Laugh

I'm gonna get two more. I'm tired of cleaning track and recoupling.

You and me both! Maybe I should just chuck out all the other track and just use terminal track instead!

But I need a left-handed terminal track.  Enough with this discrimination!

Will they work for steam engines?  Or are they diesel-only?

They'll  probably work okay for steam, but you can only use them in one direction, can't turn them.
