2 anymore than that way to cramped. i already had to make an aisle smaller than i wanted but if i took any more off it it just wouldn't work. bascily one Vistor and Me. the vistor is usually my friend. if i could get another Digitrax Throttle. we could each run a train. but since i only have one throttle i'm stuck.

Two could operate comfortably. Possibly two more watching if they don't move around too much. And one or (possibly) two could stand in the doorway.

Now, if my math is correct, that genreally adds up to one (me)! [:D] [:D]

I don't get many visitors (unless I drag my wife to the basement).

I can squeeze in about four, maybe five average size adults. Smoking is not allowed-nor is touching or leaning on the layout. Either of these things can get someone expelled from my train room real quick...

Well, if I stack them like cordwood up to the ceiling, a few hundred! [:o)]

When I'm ready for full-up operating sessions, about ten. People coming in to look and not run trains, maybe another ten.

Right now I could hold a dance. I have torn down the old layout and have just some bare bench work. With the old layout I have had had up to 8 watching the layout at once,
but they got in the way of the operators. 4 was a better fit.
The new layout being bigger will not allow more than 3 veiwers but will give up to 3 operators more room because they will be seperated from the veiwers.

There is no such thing as a bad day of railfanning. So many trains, so little time.
