Atlas is going to release an HO model of the NCE 'genset' engine.  The original manufacturer of the Green Goat has shut down, and tha assets were picked up by R J Corman..  The 'Green Goat/Green Kid' were more of battery locomotives with a small 'charger' to refresh the batteries .  They could not run in continuous service.  Most of the current crop of genset engines has 2-3 generator packages so that they can produce 1400-2100 hp and are capable of running all day(if they do not catch fire).  They currently have a rather poor availability record, but I suspect after they are 'toughened up', they will perform as advertised.
